At Bryn Dowsi farm Dafydd and Beryl have been producing fully traceable quality Welsh organic beef and lamb since 2002.

The farm consists of 200 acres and has been run by our family for generations. It is situated 1 mile from the walled town of Conwy, with uplands reaching Tal-y-fan mountain.

Aware of the effects of chemicals on individuals, livestock and the environment organic conversion commenced in 1999 leading to organic status in 2002 with Organic Farmers and Growers (OF&G).

This meant a reduction in livestock numbers, no use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and compliance with OF&G standards. This has meant reverting back to more traditional and sustainable farming methods.
